Fort Dobbs’ Military Timeline is November 1st

This coming Saturday, November 1st at 10am is Fort Dobbs’ Military Timeline event. Gates open at 10am and the event will go on until 4pm. There will be reenactors and groups simulating various periods in NC history. You can expect to see displays for the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Vietnam, and various other time periods. There will also be weapon firing demonstrations and probably some vehicles to check out. Plus the Fort, which is awesome.
I’ll be there with a Desert Storm impression based on the 82nd Airborne. Come see me in the desert camo netting shelter.
Admission is $5 for 13 and older. 12 and younger free, as are active duty or veterans with valid ID.
