I’d love to hear from anyone who was a a part of the 82nd During Desert Storm/Shield, especially in regards to accuracy of my research.

This project started out as an interest in the DBDU pattern uniforms and the various contracts that were used before and after the first Gulf War. It ended up with research specifically into the 82nd Airborne’s Ready Brigade after reading Dominic J. Caraccilo’s book about the same. That lead to getting involved in my first reenactment at Fort Dobbs in Statesville NC as part of thier yearly “Military Timeline” event. Below are some pics from that event which took place November 1st, 2025.
